It’s that time of year already – time to start planning your Halloween costume. Whether you go scary, cartoony or just plain silly, you can find what you need at Spirit Halloween…and give back to kids in need.
Local Spirit Halloween stores have been raising funds for the child life team at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children since 2007 and have raised more than $700,000 to help make hospital visits less scary for kids in Central Florida. This has allowed the hospital to provide so many things to enhance the health care experience for our community.
About Spirit of Children
At the heart of Spirit Halloween is Spirit of Children. Spirit of Children brings fun and funding to local hospitals at Halloween and all year round. With a mission to make hospitals less scary for kids and their families Spirit of Children supports the child life departments at partner hospitals in local communities.
Since 2007, Spirit of Children has raised $45 million to provide child life funding for art, music, aquatic and pet therapy programs as well as the purchase of educational items and toys used for distraction during medical procedures, and much more. 100 percent of every dollar donated supports the child life department in our 140 partner hospitals across the United States and Canada.
